The Grayscale Tweak tool gives you the ability to adjust the values of any grayscale that you define in the “Custom Grayscale” input. This it’s useful for any non-procedural grayscale since it offers lots of adjustments for roughness maps or masks.
❇️ New in version 2.0: Ability to work with "Multimask" textures. Now you can use RGBA textures as an input and select which channel you want to use as the grayscale input.
The “Custom Grayscale” input needs to be defined in order to be able to adjust the grayscale
⭐ You can use an Anchor Point as input for the “Custom Grayscale”
You can simply drag and drop the SPAT_Grayscale_Tweak from the “Assets” panel to the mask of any layer
By default the tool uses the "Custom grayscale" mode:
You must define the texture or anchor point that you want to use as "Custom grayscale" in the "Image inputs" section at the bottom of the properties panel:
If you change the mode to "Multimask (RGBA)" you'll be able to use any of the RGBA channels of the texture as the custom input:
You must define the texture or anchor point that you want to use as "Custom Multimask (RGBA)" in the "Image inputs" section at the bottom of the properties panel:
Here you can see an example of a multimask:
*In order to use the warp effect you'll need to define a custom texture to drive the warping. You can define the "Warp mask" texture in the "Image inputs" section at the bottom of the properties panel:
